The caricatural approach to herself and the world around her draws on the tradition of caricature as a form of social critique, which has always aimed to expose human weaknesses and problems in an exaggerated manner.

The entire performance can be understood as a metaphor for the struggle against imposed norms, the breaking of psychological and physical boundaries, and an attempt to regain control over one’s life and identity.

Agnieszka Brzezińska and Katarzyna Leszek are choreographers, performers, and educators active within Poland’s independent dance scene. Brzezińska, a graduate of Dance and Body Studies in Poznań, collaborates with h.art company and Teatr Tańca Nieznany. She is the creator of who cares and several dance films presented and awarded at international festivals, including Years of Silence. Leszek is a co-founder of Teatr Tańca Nieznany and Studio Nieznane in Poznań. She teaches at the Poznań University of Physical Education and develops her choreographic and performance practice both in Poland and internationally. She is the recipient of the Solo Dance Contest 2021 award and has been recognized in numerous choreographic competitions, including the Warsaw Choreographic Competition and the ZAiKS Competition. The music for the performance was created by Zuzanna Henclik, a composer and pianist associated with h.art company, specializing in electronic and electroacoustic music, and Bartosz “Mrówa” Kalwasiński, a musician, producer, and sound designer working across theatre, contemporary music.
