Katarzyna Sikora i Marcin Miętus
Katarzyna Sikora is a dancer, choreographer and performer working in new choreography. She is also a stage movement consultant for theatre productions, music videos and short films.
Sikora graduated from the Dance Theatre Department at AST Bytom and performed with Śląski Teatr Tańca during the 2012/2013 season while completing her studies. She also studied on a scholarship at the Dance Department of the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen and took part in the three-month MoDem PRO course with the Compagnia Zappalà Danza ensemble in Sicily.
She has performed in many works from the field of new choreography and new dance, such as: “Równina wątłych mięśni” by Renata Piotrowska-Auffret; “Zrób siebie”, “Monstera” and ‘Pixo” by Marta Ziółek; and “Imperial” by Paweł Sakowicz. She also co-created two works presented in performance exhibitions at the Zachęta – National Gallery of Art: “Łuczniczki” and “Topologia pożądania” by Agnieszka Kryst.
In 2023, Sikora made her directorial debut with “Dotyk za dotyk. Dansing” at Teatr Współczesny in Szczecin. She conceived and choreographed the performance, which was written by Michał Buszewicz with music by Kamil Tuszyński.
Marcin Miętus is a dramaturg and performer. He has collaborated with TR Warszawa, STUDIO theatregallery in Warsaw, Teatr Współczesny in Szczecin, Teatr ROZBARK in Bytom and Scena Robocza in Poznań. His dramaturgical work includes solo performances by Dominika Wiak, Michał Przybyła and Ana Szopa, as well as two interdisciplinary projects by Rob Wasiewicz. In 2023, he worked with Katarzyna Sikora on the choreography for “Your Majesty” at Komuna Warszawa Theatre.
