Olsztyński Teatr Tańca

Olsztyn Dance Theater has been operating since 2019 as part of the ARToffNIA Dance and Arts Foundation. It was initially established as a grassroots initiative with funding from the Olsztyn Participatory Budget. Thanks to the support of the Warmia-Masuria regional government, it currently operates at the Stefan Jaracz Theater in Olsztyn, where it regularly presents its own productions as well as guest performances.

The theater carries out its activities under the artistic direction of Katarzyna Grabińska. Those include productions with choreographers such as Anna Rubirola, Antonella Boccadamo, Anna Maria Krysiak, Monika Witkowska, Omar Karabulut, Gosia Mielech, Katarzyna Leszek and Katarzyna Grabińska. These works are created for audiences of all ages – from young children to adults – and are performed by a dance ensemble currently composed of Maja Gajzmer, Anna Janczarek, Kinga Łotysz and Lidia Zygadło, along with invited guest artists.

In addition to producing performances, the theater runs an educational program for young dance and choreography practitioners, as well as organizing dance workshops, audience engagement events, and artistic residencies. It also collaborates with other institutions across Poland as part of national networking initiatives.
