Where can you secure funding for artistic projects, and how can you effectively encourage partners to co-finance your initiatives? How do you successfully navigate the landscape of international grants?
Fundraising is, above all, the art of storytelling and building lasting relationships. Discover innovative funding tools tailored to the dance community during the expert panel “The Art of Fundraising in the World of Dance,” presented as part of the PolandDances Producers! program at the Polish Dance Platform 2026.
Your guides through the world of cultural financing will be:
· Maria Zięba – Cultural manager, community animator, educator, and President of the Ładne Historie Foundation. A graduate of the FAOO Fundraising School, author of “The Art of Fundraising” series, and scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. She collaborates with NGOs, cultural institutions, informal groups, and artists to help them raise funds, assess audience needs, evaluate projects, and build strategic partnerships.
· Professor Levan Khetaguri – International expert in performing arts theory and practice. Executive Council member of the UNESCO International Theatre Institute (ITI), board member of the UNESCO ITI Performing Arts Higher Education Network, and Director of the Arts Research Institute and Gurdjieff Institute in Tbilisi. Author of over 100 scientific publications and manager of more than 300 international projects. Member of the European Cultural Parliament and juror for numerous global festivals.
